Even though this is simpler than many of your arts, it really lets the stark contrast of emotions in it show. Here's this pretty, cheerful lamp...shining on water with (assumedly) dead people in it. Brilliant. ^^
This is very mind boggling to me. I keep coming up with stories in my head about what's going on here. It's really beautiful piece and you use contrast extremly well. I like the inky blotchy trees best I think. The guy hanging out over the edge of the boat reminds me of someone who's seasick... only I rather like to think he's just enjoying the scenery. XD Great work.
Yeah, reminded me of the river Styx and how you had to cross it into the underworld and such...
Beautiful composition and great idea My only constructive criticism [and maybe it's just me], but the one thing I see thats a little askew in this picture would be the girl's other eye.. I don't know, I just feel that with the angle of her face, you should be seeing some of it.. =/
Apart from that, its just brilliant! I'm faving despite the eye
Mmm, very understandable I have the same problem when I doodle little people in my books Someone taught me a way of practicing though without messing up the original... scan it and print it out again a few times and try practicing drawing the eye on one of the printed versions, and then when you're happy with it you could try on the original =3
I... I just love this.
I'm not sure what it is... your amazing inking skills... the gloomy-watery feel of your pics... shit. I really don't understand why does your art amazes me so friggin' much. But I love it and I seriously admire your work.
Don't you ever stop... please.
I'm loving the trees, the look in her face is so intriguing O_O i wonder what she is thinking. I still sence the boy in the boat is also dead ·__·
I admired the way you do such wonderfull illustrations with just ink an a marker
